Setting up a Affiliate Marketing Program Day 1
By Gmoney | May 6, 2008
I work for a Real Estate Marketing/Training company here in San Antonio and I have been tasked with heading up the development of a Affiliate Direct Sales Channel.
We have the products and we are going to work on getting this products spread all of the web. So in the spirit of open source information being able to be found online I am going to document building this program from the ground up!!!!!
So to start there are several things that I know right off the back that I am going to need to even think about starting this project.
1. Products - Currently we have about 4 products with about 10 in the wings.
2. Content - Because we have products we have content.
3. A great sales letter - The CEO is a outstanding writer and is currently working on a sales letters.
4. Good Resources - over the next month of to I will document all of my resources that I will be using. StartUpNation has already proven to be a great place to find information and inspiration. Here is the first link that I found on affiliate marketing. StartupNation.com Affiliate Marketing Article
5. A plan - We are currently working on a plan. Right now looks like we will launch with about 10 sites with a training portal. All we are going to do is mirror what is successful online. This is not rocket science but there is a method to the madness.
6. Tracking - You have to have a good plan for tracking sales and paying affiliates. This component might be deemed as the most important part of the equation.
7. Relationship Building - Keepings your Affiliates happy is job one. They have to know who you are, what you have to offer and why they should sale your products.
8. Online Swag - what do you have for your Affiliates to promote with? Online streaming videos, banners, buttons, 3d boxes and books?

Britney Spears has lost custody of her kids
By Gmoney | October 1, 2007
It is a sad state when the most popular search on google is Britney Spears Custody. It is amazing to me that as thinking and breathing people we care more about Britney, than war in Iraq or our diminishing freedom of speech rights.
People we have one life to live, we have only this moment to make a difference. Why do we care what happens to Britney Spears. She is not going to put food on our table or expand our minds. Matter of fact I feel that I am getting dumber writing this post.
So Britney Spears has lost custody of her kids……….. WOW now that is news.

BlogCatalog.com Stop the Abuse 9/27/07
By Gmoney | September 27, 2007
There are 3 sides to every story. There is the his side, her side and then the truth. Her side and his side both live somewhere in the vast wasteland of that gray area of truth. Truth should be black or white, but it is based on a perception of that persons reality.
Abuse - Abuse is defined as any thing that is harmful, injurious, or offensive. Abuse also includes excessive and wrongful misuse of anything. There are several major types of abuse: physical and sexual abuse of a child or an adult, substance abuse, elderly abuse, and emotional abuse.
The reality of abuse is twisted by the events that lead to the abuse.
If I pose the question-
Do you ever think that you would be in a abusive relationship?
100% of the people would answer the question with a resounding NO.
The next question would be-
Have you ever been in a abusive relationship?
At least 40% of the women that I know have answered yes to the question.
How did we get from a 0% to a 40% number.
- No one asked to be abused yet it happens. Read the rest of this entry »
